Rob, like many great creators, was born into a family of artisans. In his family you will find crafters and painters, as well as clay, metal and wood sculptures

After graduating high school in 1991 Rob moved to Alabama to complete a 2-year apprenticeship under J.P. Browning.

Upon his return to Metro Detroit, Rob opened Magic Touch Tattoos in Shelby. Over the next 10 years Rob built a very successful business while refining his tattooing skill.

In 2005, Rob made the decision to tattoo less and only accept previous clients. This gives him more time to devote to studying other avenues of artistic expression.
